probably true, I’ve had long nails all my life, like not really exaggerating ive grown them out to this length since i was like, 10, so for me doing anything with short nails is impossible. for me it’s just an extra inch on my finger that im accustomed to. i could see how having longer nails for only a few years wouldnt be the same, or usually keeping them short but suddenly having them long
RE long nails: I think how much difficulty someone has just depends on the person? Like I know when my nails get too long, I start having a little trouble with touch screens. My nails sometimes get caught on my keyboard keys as well – and I HAVE accidentally popped one off before. It might just have something to do with a person’s level of coordination/how they’re used to interacting with things.
