you meet real interesting people in early morning/late night dungeon roulette. today i am going to talk about the “your boy eggnog” healer.

i queue in as a tank and i get the aery, and right away the first thing the healer says is that he doesn’t feel like healing, so i might die. already we’re off to a good start. the first few pulls aren’t anything truly noteworthy – he seems a bit slow to keep me up, but no close calls, nothing especially worth noticing until he shouts in all caps in party chat:

“MR POSTMAN"

and then before anyone can respond:

“who do youy think yoiu are?@!”

being that i’m the only one with the postman title equipped, i answer, “the postman”

“you aint never gonna get my love!“ he tells me.

“mr. the white,” i say in reference to his own equipped title, “we have a purely professional relationship.”

im so confused about Stands everyday of my life

like e.g. Pucci can talk through White Snake but then he yells orders at it and it’s like ‘Understood.’ like?? are u sentient??? or nah?????

I think the sentience of a Stand varies but they’re all mostly manipulable by the user?

White Snake definitely is one of the more sentient Stands.

it stresses me out so much tbh bc there seems to be no formula as to what kind of stand is gonna be sentient and which isn’t. like, you’d expect a stand like jotaro’s to be sentient but instead you have like, Sex Pistols lmao

Personally I love the lack of a formula. It goes to show that the humanoid appearance of a Stand is completely unrelated to it’s humanity. Dragon’s Dream is a dragon and a ball and it’s one of the most independent Stands. Harvest is a bunch of bees who are semi-sentient or semi-automatic. 

It brings emphasis on the creepiness/alienness of the Stands. They’re just manifestations. Damn I wish I could explain this better but in short, I love Stands.

Oh I gotta mention ‘bound’ Stands too. Thoth is bound to a book and it’s 100% selfish and sentient. It writes history, completely separate from even it’s user. Love Deluxe is tied to Yukako’s hair and it’s not really sentient. 

So cool.

ive been volunteering at the tampa bay cat alliance for over a year and a half and it would mean the world to me if you could donate even a little bit

the shelter opened two years ago and runs completely on donations and volunteers. without donations, the shelter will be forced to close and in turn, try to find other shelters to take the cats (unlikely since all other shelters in the county dont take cats, and neighboring county shelters are almost always full), or to put them down. 

i dont want to seem pathetic and desperate but we really, really need help 

he hello um we are currently trying to relocate the shelter to somewhere we can give better care to the cats. the payment on the current shelter is 1000 a month and we simply don’t have that. so not only do we need to raise the months rent, but also enough to move. things are not looking very good, please help if you can !!!!!!

i keep adding on to this but, we are essentially completely out of food, litter, etc. and we keep getting dropoffs of more kittens (WE ARE FULL). seriously in danger of closing if we do not get supplies/funds within a month
