I have no idea how you would have been able to read from his diary, as even I have not looked at it. I know he keeps on on his findings for heaven, but I would will not pry farther into his personal matters. If he wishes to tell me, he may do that himself to my face, however I do not feel he would need to. I already know, he does not have to say anything.
